Mass Stitchings No 3: Montclair Post Office
2022
Embroidery on Digital Image
24 x 36

As part of an ongoing series of American Mass Shootings, the Montclair Post Office is the third of the series at the Fairfield Street Post Office on March 21, 1995. Four postal workers were killed by a former employee, and one lived to tell the experience and identify the shooter. Christopher Green had gone into the building to commit robbery and then killed his former colleagues execution style. The term "Going postal" was used to describe this scene and a similar number of killings by postal workers across America.
